Overview

We are looking to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant to join a busy team based in Camberley. The company offer modern offices with onsite parking and good facilities and are a growing law firm with a solid reputation. The purpose of the role will be to support the Fee Earners on a day to day basis with cases. Responsibilities: Receiving local searches and checking against previous searches Obtain Help to Buy Papers and check & liaise with lenders Liaising with clients, sales offices & developer’s solicitors & pass difficult enquiries to the Fee Earner Receive and check mortgage offers, liaise with clients and Lenders on enquiries Chase clients for deposits and signed papers & get file ready for exchange Prepare exchange paperwork & handover paperwork for completions team Apply for searches Close abortive files Person / Experience Required Previous experience of working within conveyancing or as a plots assistant Ability to work on your own initiative Strong team player Strong data entry skills Good organisational skills Ability to work within a busy environment Please note: As you can appreciate we are currently overwhelmed with applications of individuals looking for both short term and permanent work and we can therefore only contact those applications that have relevant skills for positions that we currently have available.
