Overview

ResponsibilitiesAs a Product Manager, you will play a key role in one of our Innovation project delivery teams, combining business understanding with technology innovation and design to develop commercially viable products and services. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Leading on product management for one or more products in the innovation process Actively looking to embed product management principles, approaches and methodologies into the heart of the project, and ensuring team members and other stakeholders understand them Working closely with sales and marketing to develop the client proposition, and determine product pricing models Managing stakeholders and reporting Developing the business case to secure investment, and monitoring progress against OKRs Designing and conducting interviews to understand the needs of the customer As a member of the Innovation team, you may also be involved in coaching and upskilling PwC staff on innovation and product management methodologies. Skills and experience - Essential Demonstrable commercial experience in a product focused role, a strong understanding of product management methodologies especially in a business to business setting Experience of working in Agile (e.g Kanban, Scrum) and applying Design Thinking methodology to solving problems Experience in conducting customer interviews, and working with users to translate requirements into user stories Strong commercial skill set with the ability to successfully understand and build business cases Confident with working in a fast-paced environment and playing an integral part in the building and development of products Ability to switch between big picture thinking and the detail Experience of interacting with senior stakeholders and communicate with impact (both verbally and written) Degree level qualification or equivalent by qualification or experience Relevant technical certifications and/or professional project management qualifications Skills and experience - Desirable Knowledge of key emerging technologies, current trends and their potential disruptive impacts Experience of working with and managing relationships with 3rd party design and development houses Experience of working in (or with) a professional services firm or consultancy About PwC We’re one of the world’s leading professional services organisations.
