Overview
Decision Scientist London £40,000 - £70,000 I am working exclusively with a popular fin-tech lender to build out their Credit Scoring and Decision Science team. The team is being built from the ground up so it's an opportunity to be part of something new where there will be an emphasis on diversity and fostering a company culture. It's also the opportunity to use cutting-edge analytical tools (Python) and statistical techniques (logistic regression, neural networks, random forests etc) to develop state-of-the-art real-time predictive decision models. THE ROLE Develop application and behavioural scorecards using a variety of data sources to predict customer behaviour across the customer life-cycle Use cutting edge statistical techniques to make decision making more accurate and bring decision making into real time Development of PD models in line with IFRS9 or IRB frameworks Implement the models into live systems and subsequently monitor, validate and optimise Development of junior analysts within the team YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Extensive experience developing Credit Risk models Strong programming experience in Python, R or SAS Strong data manipulation skills using SQL Good communication skills with the ability to influence a variety of stakeholders Strong academic background with excellent A-levels (or equivalent) and a numerate degree from an accredited university KEYWORDS Scorecards, Credit Scoring, Decision Science, Probability of Default, PD, Behavioural Scorecards, Application Scorecards, Python, SQL, SAS
