Robotics Engineer - Falmouth Salary: 30,000 - 80,000 PA Neg. Depending on ability. Their humanoid robots are used worldwide for social interaction, communication and entertainment at public exhibitions and attractions, as well as university research labs. The Role: An excellent opening for Mechanical Design Engineer - Robotics. The role includes design of complex mechanical, pneumatic and motor driven systems. Simulation, calculation and analysis to optimise designs. You will work closely with the prototype production team - our client operates an extremely rapid prototype development cycle with state of the art in house production facilities. Working with Autodesk Inventor Professional Brains and enthusiasm required. Friendly and flexible working environment, freedom to explore ideas and work on a world leading-humanoid robots. Essential Skills Requirements: Practical hands on ability to create functional and aesthetic designs. An intuitive understanding of mechanics coupled with a keen eye for an elegant solution. Ability to use and learn new software design tools. Able to listen, absorb new ideas and extrapolate novel solutions. Small-scale design, robotics, aerospace, consumer products background.
