Private Client Solicitor - Goole Salary: Dependant on experience The Company A leading firm of Solicitors working across the whole of Yorkshire and the UK. Acting for the personal needs of private clients, their highly experienced commercial team work on behalf of many business clients - from small owner managed firms to large corporations. The Role Our client are now recruiting for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to provide a client-focused quality service. The successful candidate must have experience in PI Trust and Deputyship and Probate. Role responsibilities will include: Conduct of own caseload within the Goole Branch Attendance on clients and others in order to take statements to obtain information, and make appointments Instruction of experts and/or Counsel as appropriate To ensure monies are obtained from the private clients on account by interim and final billing To draft legal documents as appropriate To arrange for filing of documents, service of documents and enforcement as appropriate To authorise payment to third parties To engage in learning and development activity that ensures Continuing Competence (as required by the Solicitors Regulation Authority) To abide by all professional rules of conduct To keep up to date with all relevant law and procedure To attend departmental meetings as required To undertake such other duties as and when required by the Directorship Essential Skills Requirements: Admitted as a solicitor and has name on the roll Has in force a practicing certificate PI Trust and Deputyship experience and or Probate Good client care skills Good management, communication, marketing and organisational skills Computer literate Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
