Exciting Interim opportunity for an Assistant Director of Engineering for a large estate in Birmingham Your new role Hays have been appointed to resource for an Interim Director of Engineering for a large estate in Birmingham. The role is to support M&E engineering maintenance, maintenance and FM projects, statutory compliance & energy projects. The role reports to the Director of Estates and is fundamental to the safe and efficient operation of their estate. This includes management of in house staff and a number of subcontractors for maintenance delivery. Ideally you will come from a hard services M&E background and have strong technical experience in electrical or mechanical or building services engineering. The role is initially 6 months in duration and is assisting the Director to look at the day to day operations, drive efficiencies, contractor management and budgets, ensure small works projects are delivered and then any new buildings that go live from the Capital programme ensure they are brought into maintenance operations and FM effectively.
