Technical Architect, Applications, London, Banking This is a great opportunity for a Technical Architect to join a growing corporate bank. The bank’s going through a period of organic growth, with over 400 new staff members joining in the last 3 years. It’s a great time to join. You will be joining an experienced Systems Development team. The role requires a hands-on Enterprise Architect who can liaise with multiple stakeholders and deliver application projects end to end with an understanding of the software development life cycle. Responsibilities of Technical Architect · Working on new and upcoming projects. · You will be responsible for defining and specifying new and existing application solutions. · Use your knowledge and experience across the full SDLC. · Consulting across IT and the business with various stakeholder on Enterprise Architecture. · Provide architecture design authority. Key Skills of Technical Architect · Proven track-record in developing and implementing enterprise architecture blueprints, roadmaps and strategies. · As an Enterprise Architect you will possess a strong understanding of IT Architecture across software, networks, hardware, data and security · Ability to build strong relationships including influencing and negotiating. · Ability to present technical and non-technical ideas and topics to a variety of audiences. · Confident working to tight deadlines and work well within a collaborative team · Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills. · TOGAF certified would be desirable. · Knowledge and experience using various banking systems would be desirable This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on Technical Architect to join a growing and experienced team within a global bank.
