Overview
Commercial Manager - SC Cleared - Contract - Construction A Commercial Manager is required for a government and defence organisation in Salisbury. The main aim of the position is to provide procurement and contract management support to the Enabling Division and develop effective contractual relationships with external supplier base and take responsibility for task/management of a workflow within the team against a pipeline of work from three areas of the Internal Portfolio. Tasks Executing end to end procurement processes, including data collection, document preparation, competition, negotiation, contract award, contract management and supplier relationship management Managing communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders Communicating priorities and business plans to internal and external stakeholders whilst ensuring that all programmes and projects deliver to time, cost and quality Minimum Requirement Experience with Public Contract Regulations Worked in a commercial environment involving infrastructure works and aware of NEC3 contracting and the RIBA Stage process Please note that this roles requires SC clearance prior to joining. If you do not currently hold SC clearance please familiarise yourself with the process and ensure you are happy to go through it.
