Type: Permanent Location: Remote / London Salary: £80,000 - £90,000k Our client, one of the world’s largest and most successful IT services companies is currently looking for an experienced AWS Security Engineer to help customers automate security operations. This involves driving fast-paced complex projects focused on altering business outcomes for customers. As a senior AWS Security Engineer you will have the opportunity to innovate technically excellent security solutions and take a lead role in building and deploying security infrastructure and automation security operations. Responsibilities for the AWS Security Engineer will include (but are not limited to): •Express deep technical knowledge when developing content e.g. automation tools, reference architectures / white papers. • Take the lead role in guiding teams to build and deploy security infrastructure and automate security operations for customers. •Innovate and provide a consultative service on behalf of customer to provide the best security solution. •Act as an AWS subject matter expert within client engagements on a continuous basis, driving innovation and client relationships Skills required for the AWS Security Engineer include (but are not limited to): •Design and implement AWS Security solutions for a range of large scale, complex customers •Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions such as WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, and SIEM •Enterprise experience in building security capabilities in code and deploying infrastructure. This requires •Strong scripting skills in / or; PowerShell, Python, Node.js, Javascript, Bash, Ruby, Perl.
