Overview
I'm currently leading with a leading business in their recruitment of a Warehouse Supervisor on a temp to perm basis. Paying an initial £10 p/h (plus shift premium) based in Birmingham. I'm currently leading with a leading business in their recruitment of a Warehouse Supervisor on a temp to perm basis. Paying an initial £10 p/h (plus shift premium) based in Birmingham. Key responsibilities of Warehouse Supervisor: Supervise FLT & Operatives Maintain working practices & processes Receive details of goods expected, log the goods in, and store in the appropriate area Ensure outgoing goods are damage free, well prepared for Transportation, complete & logged Notify the controller or purchaser of any failed deliveries Monitor schedules, ensuring that the correct goods reach the machines on time Ensure the strapping and dispatching of goods from the business is correct and safe, liaising with Dispatch and POP supervisors Ensure that the factory, warehouse and yard areas are clean & tidy Monitor the waste and recycling on site Manage the MHE safety checks, and request servicing and/or repairs when required Undertake stock checks Undertake monthly racking inspection The Successful Candidate will have the following: Previous Supervisory experience within a warehouse / logistics environment Reach & Counter Balance FLT licences Open to working different shift patterns Analytical & literate Excellent communication skills Ability to work on own & part of a team Self motivated IT literate Trustworthy, Conscientious & Reliable
