Overview
No experience is needed to work as a Production Operative for our client's fast-paced food production site, where full training is provided. Staffline is recruiting for a Production Operative to work in Carlisle. The rate of pay is: £7.70 per hour - Under 24 years old. Overtime is paid at £9.63 per hour. £8.21 per hour - 25 years old and over. Overtime is paid at: £10.26 per hour. Overtime is applicable after 48 hours for less than 12 weeks of service, and applicable after 39 hours for over 12 weeks of service. There are a variety of flexible shifts available. The hours of work are: Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm 2pm to 10pm 10pm to 6am Weekends 6am to 6pm 6pm to 6am Your time at work As a Production Operative for this site, your duties will include, but are not limited to: Working on a production line in a chilled environment Ensuring no cross contamination occurs, reporting any possible issues to the supervisor Ensuring all equipment and machinery is well maintained and meets hygiene standards Using factory machinery, including vehicles, on which you have been trained Packing, loading and unloading of products Cleaning duties; adhering to all company Health & Safety and Food Hygiene Policies Our perfect worker Our ideal Production Operative is flexible in their approach to work and works well as part of a fast-paced team within a busy production environment.
