Our Wythenshawe based client is looking to recruit a Shipping Administrator to join their team of 8.Yes, even if these challenging times, they are still busy and it is all hands on deck Are you looking to use your freight forwarding and/or your knowledge of import and export documentation in your next role? Salary/Package: ·£22,000 to £24,000 basic salary · 20 days holiday bank holidays · Free Onsite Parking · External Training courses with the Chamber of Commerce · Free Yoga every Wednesday · Hours: 35 hours per week, 8am – 4pm or 9am – 5pm (or anything in between these times) Duties of the Shipping Administrator: · Working alongside one other team member to process all shipments globally · Tracking container movement across the globe · Dealing with international shipments and producing necessary paperwork and Certificate of Analysis · Complete certificates of origin for routing, arrange further certification or legislative requirements · Liaison with warehouse and agents worldwide to arrange and coordinate dispatches/paperwork follow up · Prepare and co-ordinate compliance documentation for Letters of Credit or other arrangement · Dealing with emails and calls from suppliers and clients · Complaint resolution and logging non-compliance Experience/Attributes required for the Shipping Administrator: · Previous freight forwarding and/or knowledge of import/export documentation is essential: - Understanding of Inco terms, export procedures, documentation such as ATR, Certificate of Origin, Safety Data Sheets, Familiar with Croners export guide or similar · High levels of attention to detail · Experience of handling key accounts/clients · Able to manage a busy workload and meet varying deadlines · Previous administration and strong organisation skills is a must If this position sounds like the role for you, please apply with your CV today Please note, due to the high level of applications we receive, we are unable to respond to individual submissions.
