Parts Telephone Advisor - Parts Technician - Truck Parts - HGV Parts person - HGV Parts Person - Parts Advisor - Commercial Vehicle Parts Technician is required by a major truck and van manufacturer to work within a new dedicated parts telephone team providing aftermarket parts support and sales to the customer base and the workshop. Predominantly inbound calls but also some outbound calls as well. Ideally have parts experience, or some similar commercial vehicle, Trucks, HGV, vans or commercial vehicles or any automotive parts experience. Office based in a brand new parts telephone call centre dealing with clients over the telephone, ordering parts, element of parts sales and also work with the workshop, parts picking and ordering for the Workshop technicians. ROLE: Parts Advisor / Parts Telephone advisor LOCATION: Reading BASIC SALARY: £26k ROLE: To answer incoming calls from customers and identify their requirements, sell parts To liaise with necessary divisions to ensure the correct parts are identified To place orders for any required parts, that are not stocked, using the purchase plus ordering system To process customer orders To identify parts, produce quotations and supply parts required for accident repairs in the workshop To take part in the completion of the department’s annual stock take Producing and circulating product promotions and clearance offers to our customer base Work with Parts Development Manager in identifying sales trends and potential new products to make sure the correct parts are stocked. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Be able to work to strict deadlines to ensure customer’s needs are met Experience and knowledge of commercial vehicles, Truck, HGV, Van parts are proffered for this role, however any automotive vehicle parts experience is fine Friendly and professional manner at all times Be comfortable and confident dealing with customers and colleagues on all professional levels Have working knowledge of Microsoft office programs Have a flexible approach to work during busier times and when holiday cover is required Have experience of a telephone based working environment.
