Overview

My client who are a leading service provider with an ever improving reputation in the UK are looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their team. About the Role This 2nd Line Support Analyst role is for an individual who has strong IT support and infrastructure experience. You will be familiar with support in a mainly microsoft environment and are used to working in a multi-site or head office environment. If you have any of the experience below then please get in touch: Desktop Central, Batch Scripting, EPOS, MDT, Windows 7 & 10, Server 2003, 2008, 2012 & 2016, Office 365 2nd support experience in a multi-site / head office environment. Internal Help desk experience Retail knowledge & technology desirable but not essential - EPOS systems, PCI, P2PE etc Experience of building and maintaining Windows Servers 3rd party supplier management Responsibilities for the 3rd Line Support Analyst Deliver 2nd line / technical support for my clients central and distributed networks, servers and applications as part of the IT Service Delivery Team, 24 x 7 x 365 service Participate in the emergency out-of-hours on-call and weekend rotations Provide proactive monitoring of my clients IT estate Identify trends, investigate and resolve deep-seated underlying IT problems XenServer management and support On-prem Server Software / Hardware testing, support and maintenance Office 365 support Active Directory and Group Policy management and support Switch configuration, management and support PC’s and printer’s hardware and software support and maintenance EPOS System configuration management and support Zendesk configuration, management and support Willing to work outside of normal hours to ensure minimal disruption to business Research and implement relevant technical solutions Provide implementation support to a range of technical improvement IT rollouts. Travel to various locations around the UK. Support transition of business projects in to the BAU Service Delivery Team
