If you reacted positively to the above questions, this Web Developer position could be just the right role for you to take on. My client are a growing outfit who work in the creative industry. They are looking for a Web Developer to join the business and take on responsibility for the company websites that are built currently using WordPress and PHP, develop their new website which will be mostly made up of new technologies and tools, including React, GraphQL, AWS and modern JavaScript technologies. The Web Developer will get a huge amount of variation in their position and will have to wear many hats, such as a Technical Manager, Software Engineering Lead, Full Stack Developer or DevOps Engineer. The Web Developer is likely to be working the following split in the new role, but this would change as and when needed to focus on one area: 50% Front End Development, 35% Design (UX, UI), 15% Back End Development. The plan is to eventually get all the business websites working from the new one, once built. Currently all their digital work is outsourced, so this Web Developer role will take over the workload after completion with the view that their expected growth could mean bringing on further Web Developers or Front End Developers at a later date.
