Overview
My client is a growing niche insurance company specialist in Legal Expense Insurance, and are currently looking to recruit a skilled claims handler due to ongoing growth within the team. The role will involve: Assessing legal dispute claims and looking into whether they are indemnified on grounds of policy terminology or lack of merit. Control and handling of legal expense claims Providing legal advice on a variety of legal disputes for individuals, commercial entities and private landlords. Knowledge of legal expense policies and/or claims would be beneficial. Also knowledge of contract and/or policy terminology would be a distinct advantage, as would experience of managing more complex claims or disputes previously, i.e. landlord disputes, property law, contract law, professional negligence, landlord & tenant etc. Hours of work - 9am-5:30pm Monday to Friday. Salary - Negotiable dependent on skills and experience but will likely fall within the £22-27k range.
