Overview
SF are are currently working with a fantastic manufacturing business based in Halesowen. They are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant position, responsible for, but not limited to, the preparation of analyses for the completion of month-end tasks and preparation of managements accounts for review to support the Financial Controller with the timely submission of month-end financials. key tasks: - Prepare various analyses and reports including but not limited to Rebate Monitor, Customer Allowances, Business Case, Margin by Product Report, Monthly Sales Reports - DIY Customers - Review existing analysis with a view to maintaining and improving accuracy - Maintain Inter-company Selling Price List - Monitor & reconcile accruals/prepayments - Monthly preparation of stock valuation and stock journal for posting to ledgers - Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations - Review Systems Error Reports and effect system correction. - Preparation of Management Accounts for review by Financial Controller or Finance Manager - Prepare and complete monthly & quarterly reports/commentary - Provide support to Financial Accountant re completion of VAT and Intrastat and maintain control account reconciliation - Prepare and submit ONS returns - Monitor Duty/VAT on imports - Provide support in respect of quarterly intercompany reconciliation process including realised/unrealised FX revaluation. - Support year-end audit/tax audit via preparation of ad hoc analyses - Performing any other duties that may be assigned by the Financial Controller and Finance Manager Please get in touch if this sounds of interest to you.
