Trainee Accountant £18,000 - £20,000 per annum based on experience Permanent Chester Free parking Career progression Excellent staff benefits Great working environment in modern offices The Role We are currently for an ambitious Trainee Accountant to provide support by managing daily accounting tasks within a growing and fast paced team. You will be an integral part of a rapidly growing business and because of this our client offers excellent career opportunities and progression. Responsibility for client service and delivery for a portfolio of clients Maintaining and working on business accounts which vary from SME to corporate businesses. Assisting with year-end account preparation. Providing full support to Senior Accountants within the business and working on ad-hoc projects when required. Preparation of VAT & Tax returns. Correspondence with clients and HMRC. The Candidate The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: Part or fully AAT qualified or graduate level with relevant degree. Confident IT skills to use and analyse a range of accounting software in addition to MS Excel. Excellent communication skills. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Be a team player. The Package £18,000 - £20,000 per annum based on experience Flexible working hours : Monday to Friday 37.5 hours between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm The opportunity to work for an owner run company with a fantastic team The Company My client is a reputable Accountancy and Tax Consultancy Practice with dedicated professionals, servicing clients across the UK.
