Overview
The duties of the Rent and Service Charge Officer; Carry out finance and administrative duties to support the rent and service charge team, including the rent review process, setting and monitoring service charge budgets and the production of income and expenditure statements. Description Key duties for Rent and Service Charge Officer Carry out the full range of administrative and financial activity required to ensure effective rent and service charge processing. Complete monthly financial monitoring of rent and service charge income and expenditure. Preparation of income and expenditure statements for customers to ensure with legislative requirements. Provide clear ,supportive and accurate advice to customers and colleagues via the telephone or in writing, on the financial elements of rent and service charges policies and procedures including signposting and escalating as appropriate to ensure effective resolution. Maintain and review financial system records to ensure accurate data is held. Develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure all data protection requirements are ad heard to. Profile Experience of providing financial monitoring and administration preferably in a processing environment Basic knowledge of financial controls Customer focused with excellent communication skills Results focused with the ability to take ownership on tasks Excellent attention to detail and able to work under pressure Great team player that can work flexibly to meet business requirements Proficient in the use of MS excel Desirable Housing background Basic accounting qualification Job Offer On offer for Rent and Service Charge Officer £24,000 - £25,000 salary 25 Days Holiday On site car park Pension Weekly pay
