Engineering Test Laboratory Technician

PMP Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Engineering Test Laboratory Technician. Duties: Preparation and testing of materials and components in accordance with various Automotive specifications and /or customer requirements Maintaining accurate and systematic records in accordance with documented procedures Manufacturing and installing test samples onto jigs and fixtures Preparing and compiling test reports Adhering to regulations and laboratory policies regarding health, safety and quality. Maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment Ensuring Health & Safety is enforced in working areas Ensuring Quality System is enforced in working areas, including maintenance of equipment Good general education including English, Maths and Sciences (Grade C or above) Experience of working within a test environment is preferred but not essential Experience of operating simple workshop machinery is preferred but not essential Laboratory/quality control experience is preferred but not essential Good practical and analytic skills An inquisitive approach to product engineering and testing Excellent written and verbal communication skills The ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels, both with colleagues and clients The ability to work well under pressure, prioritise and coordinate The ability to work to tight deadlines Excellent attention to detail Qualifications:? Engineering technical Apprenticeship ONC in mechanical engineering Minimum 2 year's experience, post apprenticeship, in the engineering industry Experience in the automotive industry an advantage Computer literate and knowledge of technical software packages Be able to work effectively within a mulct-discipline team environment PMP Recruitment Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
