Come and join our team at Siemens Healthineers as a Maintenance Engineer. You will be part of the Engineering department driving effective Process Management, continuous improvement and provide engineering and technical support for manufacturing operations. Your mission and responsibilities To be part of an Engineering department driving effective process management, and continuous improvement with regards to, but not exclusively the following: To repair in a timely manner manufacturing and process equipment Ensure all Manufacturing process are available to Production Operations as and when desire Deliver rapid response, to asset availablity in line with the expectations of Manufacturing Operations Report Process uptime including breakdowns and ensure reaction and countermeasures are in place at the first attempt where possible Process uptime control and monitoring (FTPR, OEE, MTTR/MTTF etc) Complete daily/weekly/monthly/yearly Maintenance Maintain calibration schedule for Hand Tools and Test Equipment, internally and with external suppliers Supporting Process improvements: The organising and control of spare parts Support area Lean/Kaizan Events Support equipment development/ new equipment on the line / Improvements and associated task Use of Manufacturing Tools: Effective use of CaPA/IR TPM implementation of both FLM (First Line Maintenance) and PM (Preventitive Maintenance) Use of SAP application Create Deviations Lead Risk Assessments including pFMEA Assessments Manufacturing Systems: Effective use of Cerdaac Effective use of Agility Effective use of Documentum Projects and Other Tasks: Write detailed Engineering Studies Effectively manage Projects through to completion using the appropriate tools Complete verification runs for new product product verifications Write and execute Validation documentation including FAT IOQ PQ reports To find out more about the specific business, have a look at https://www.siemens-healthineers.com/en-uk/point-of-care-testing Your qualifications and experience: ONC/HNC/HND in an Engineering Discipline desirable Electrical background - Able to understand electrical drawings / test equipment Mechanical knowledge - Able to use/handle tools for repairs Drawing knowledge - Able to read and understand drawings Demonstrate sound fault diagnosis practices Experience in an engineering/maintenance or similar related discipline Project management skills desirable Use of office applications (Outlook/Excel/Word/Powerpoint) Quality Management Systems awareness Work as a member of a team Key to have good people and communication skills Lead a meeting/manage a project Must be able to manage own time effectively Manage time efficiently to meet reactive business demands Your personality and skills: Flexible - Has strong conceptual flexibility and can adapt to any situation Tenacious - Persists and perseveres, even under pressure.
