Overview
Maintenance Engineer Cordant people are proud to working in partnership with a distillery company based in Edinburgh. At present we are looking for a Multi-Skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer. You will be working within the Engineering team, provide maintenance to the property as long with ad-hoc projects. This is a temporary ongoing assignment that could be cut short at anytime if the distillery needs to close. The Role: Supporting the Engineering team Adhoc site maintenance as required Fault finding and remedial engineering work Supporting continual improvement Engineering activities Excellent problem solving skills High level of attention to detail Using order systems Daily, weekly and monthly safety check with record evidence General housekeeping duties You MUST have knowledge of: Mechanical Fault Finding Basic Electrical Fault Finding Basic Turning, Milling and Fabrication Skills Work knowledge of Pneumatic Systems Knowledge of Permit to Work Systems Ideally you will have experience within production, factory or a drinks environment and hot a FLT Licence. You must be competent to use own initiative to make on the spot operational decisions along with planning and organising effectively. Successful applicants will be contacted within 5 working days.
