What will you be doing You will be joining the high energy EPOS agile team as a junior Developer which gives you the opportunity to work on exciting projects based around our flagship product. You will be working in a fast paced product driven environment helping the team drive the delivery and push the product forwards in the market. Key points of the role You will be working on a very interesting real-world domain - retail solutions for small businesses while shaping and building a business-critical solution. You will have the opportunity to collaborate and learn together with pair/mob -programming. Characteristics To succeed in this role, you will be enthusiastic and open minded. Take pride in your work and show strong willingness, creativity and interest What we would like from you We are very relaxed with some of the tech you may have been working with at your course/current employer but the following is ideal - Proven .net core and C# skills but other programming languages are ok (Python, Ruby, Java) ASP.net core SQL Source control, build and deployment tools e.g. GIT Understanding of Extreme Programming (XP) principles (SOLID, pair programming, simple code, test-driven development) Agile (Scrum, Kanban) environment experience, TDD/Unit Testing, Continuous Integration - or a passion to work with these methods It would be even better if you had knowledge of the following Azure DevOps, Docker Experience in a DevOps environment - continuous integration, continuous deployment Test Driven Development Functional Programming (Strategic) Domain Driven Design What we can do for you You can expect a truly special experience working with us in our Head Office Location in Welwyn Garden City.
