Held in high regard, they are able to act as leaders in their communities. About the Role Responsible for leading a team of Case Officers managing and progressing Fitness to Practise referrals. Working closely and collaborating with screening management colleagues to ensure the screening business unit delivers a high quality and efficient service. Ensuring that all cases managed by your team meet the relevant quality standards and timeliness targets and that the management of each case reflects our commitment to a person centred approach. This is a critical role within the Screening function and requires strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and enable the team to carry out their roles efficiently and effectively. Skills and experience required Demonstrable experience of staff management, including setting team and individual objectives. Significant experience of motivating and coaching others in order to meet targets. Experience of managing high volumes of work within strict timeframes. Understanding of information and data security legislation and its application to casework. Proven experience of stakeholder management and engagement. Experience of using management information to identify adherence to targets and to prepare reports. Ability to work collaboratively with teams across the organisation. Excellent IT skills (including information and case management programmes. Experience of working in healthcare regulation (desirable) .
