Overview
INTRODUCTION OSR are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading car dealership in Grimsby, who are seeking an experienced General Sales Manager to join the business to lead and contribute to the ongoing success of the current sales team. THE COMPANY My client is a reputable and well-established, multi-branch dealer group, who are driven by providing excellent customer satisfaction and offer industry leading training and development, along with a history of providing career progression and internal promotion for their staff across the group. DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES Overall efficient management and operation of the sales department. Planning for achievement of dealership new and used vehicle sales targets. Supporting the sales team throughout the customer sales process, compiling customer offer and transaction, assistance with negotiation and closing sales. Ensuring the sales department meets with manufacturer required standards, ie. Displays and showroom information. Monitoring and controlling stock levels of new and used vehicles, and controlling vehicle preparation. Ongoing development and coaching of sales team, planning individual manufacturer training courses. Working with the marketing department to compile targeted advertising campaigns. Focus on retaining repeat business with the sales team, from existing customers of the dealership. At all times, to promote the company's culture of outstanding quality and customer service. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Previous experience in a motor trade Sales Management role. Proven track record of achieving results and developing a team to success. A natural leader and motivator. Passion for delivering excellent customer service. A valid driving licence. SALARY AND BENEFITS My client is offering a competitive basic salary package with uncapped on-target-earnings potential of around £60,000 per annum. Company Car entitlement is also included, as well as a fantastic personal benefits package. LOCATION The dealership is located in Grimsby.
