Overview

Are you an experienced Painter? Do you have knowledge in the Social Housing sector? The successful candidate will be required to complete various Painting & Decorating jobs to occupied and void domestic properties. You may also be required to carry out some day to day maintenance, so experience of general maintenance is desirable. Responsibilities : Liaising with the client and other professionals. Covering all aspects of Painting and decorating including; General painting and decorating works including all preparation of surfaces to receive decoration Measuring surface areas to work out what materials are required to complete the job. Stripping off existing wallpaper or paint. Mentoring apprentices, trainees and work placements as and when required. Ensuring that all processes and procedures are adhered to as per Driver Handbook. Use PDA mobile working systems as instructed and within Corporate Policy guidelines. Work efficiently and economically in accordance with the current Health and Safety Regulations Completion of job tickets and associated paperwork as and when required Ensuring that vehicle housekeeping is undertaken regularly and that all vehicle stock is stored appropriately within the vehicle Responding to emergency call outs on an ad-hoc basis, as and when requested Provide excellent customer service to customers The Candidate: The successful candidate will have a City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in painting and Decorating. They will also have previous experience in painting and decorating, including wallpapering, within the housing environment.
