Title: Senior VAT Analyst Company: Retail Location: Manchester Salary: £250 - £350 per day Client is a well-renowned international retailer based in Manchester who is looking for an interim VAT Analyst for a 5-month contract. As part of the European VAT compliance team you will be responsible for VAT compliance across the region as well as supporting the wider Tax team. Duties will include: Prepare and submit European VAT returns and filings Assist with VAT registrations Prepare month-end GL account reconciliations Assist with VAT compliance queries Identify and implement process improvements Take ownership of VAT compliance queries Skills: Strong knowledge of EU VAT/indirect tax for a min. 2 years Experience of VAT compliance with a European jurisdiction Advanced Excel skills are essential VAT, VAT Analyst, VAT Manager, VAT returns, VAT Filings, VAT Controls, VAT Compliance, EU VAT, VAT Associate
