Overview
Position: Index Analyst Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 (Dependent on experience) Location: London Job Type: Permanent You will be responsible for handling client requests on data provision, index methodologies and corporate actions. You will help develop and backtest new index methodologies, set up and administer new indices for digital assets. You will also contribute to shaping the in-house index administration software. You will work in an excellent team launching new products for an exciting new asset class. Index Analyst Responsibilities include: : 1 year in the financial industry, ideally from a Tier1 investment bank, index provider or consultancy Excellent analytical skills Maths and statistics knowledge Advanced Excel skills Some knowledge of programming (python, R or VBA) or willingness to learn Ability to work independently Index Analyst Key responsibilities: Handling client requests for new index methodologies Backtesting of new index methodologies Administration of new index launch Monthly rebalancing processes Corporate action research and treatment Our role: We specialise in finding 'careers' and not just 'jobs' for people.
