Job Title: Bookkeeper Location: Exmouth Salary: £20,000- £22,000 Reference Number: 14626 Bookkeeper Job Description: Recruit UK are working with a Chartered Accountancy firm based in Exmouth who are looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to join their busy and growing Bookkeeping team at the Exmouth office. The team provides a seamless and efficient service to an interesting and expanding client base of small businesses across Devon and the South West. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for providing clients with a bookkeeping service up to trial balance and ensure VAT deadlines are met. There will also be opportunities to support the preparation of client management accounts. Furthermore, you will also be expected to be a team player and offer guidance to junior members of the team in their bookkeeping tasks. Private health insurance Skills and experience required: Ideally have experience of working in a busy practice environment and have good working experience of using online accounting packages in particular Xero and ideally Sage and QuickBooks Experience of MTD implementation would be desirable. It is expected that you will be AAT, IAB or ICB qualified or part qualified. Possess a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently. You must have a confident personality and good communication skills, as there will be significant client contact.
