Overview
We now have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Multi skilled Maintenance Engineering Technician (to assist the Electrical Bias Multi Skilled Engineer) to join our fast growing and highly successful team. We are looking for a candidate that is electrically bias and electrically qualified to assist a lead engineer on site, in this role you will be learning new skills on the job (both electrical and mechanical) with the end result to become a multi skilled automation engineer. Your main responsibilities will be maintaining high speed automated equipment such as conveyor systems, sortation systems for a multi national company. What this job involves Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems and related electrical and mechanical equipment Maintain a safety-first culture by promoting and driving safe work practices timely training, best practices as well as delivering rewards and recognition's to promote safe behaviour. Implement Preventive Maintenance programs Ability to maintain, and troubleshoot basic power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and wiring methods and materials Ability to, maintain, and troubleshoot basic relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachs, and encoders Develop and maintain a good working relationships across all levels in the organisation Ability to provide enriched feedback to enhance individual performance Application Process If you have the above skills and wish to be considered for this position or find out more details then please contact Matthew Crate-Fox on or submit your CV to ctive also offer a referral scheme for successful applicants - if you know anyone that could be suited to this position then please contact Proactive with their details and if they are placed by Proactive you will receive between £100-500.
