Overview
Deskside Support Technician, Permanent, West London. A Deskside IT Support Technician is required by one of the world’s most recognised and leading media company located West London. There are two positions available. A company and brand that is responsible for delivering some of the most beloved characters and timeless stories to children and adults everywhere. The successful IT Desktop Support Engineer will be a problem solver provide hardware and software support both remotely and with users face-to-face, you must be experienced providing quick resolutions and cause minimal inconvenience to the end user. The role calls for someone with excellent communication skills, confidence, ability to work under pressure and great customer service skills. Key Responsibilities Perform Break fix on all desktop equipment Perform IMAC suppor t & Windows support Maintain regular calls with scheduler and complete all allocated calls Be vigilant for possible security breach Installing & supporting software packages Ensure administration is satisfactory and up to date To diagnose problems accurately using available resources & technical knowledge To carry out other tasks as requested by Team Leader Required Skills & Experience At least 2 years of experience providing IT support Confident resolving IT issues to users at all levels. Knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 10 Basic knowledge of Server OS and navigation if needed as eyes and ears for smart hands calls Active Directory Basic hardware experience Experience Network Fault troubleshooting Experience with network builds, printer and network installation Experience with Microsoft applications in particular Office Suite, Visio/Project Experience with VPN and remote work on machines Must be able to diagnose and repair desktops and laptops Dependent on experience, this position is paying between £24,000 - £26,000 If you are interested to find out more or would like to be considered for this role, please send your CV Joleen Dilger via the email listed.
