Buyer/Purchaser opportunity on offer at an innovative, rapidly growing company that can offer comprehensive training on all specialist industry products. Established 70 years ago this company specialise in the design and manufacture of bespoke testing equipment for the Motorsport and Research industries. This highly acclaimed industry leader now require a Buyer/Purchaser to assist in their expansion plans. In this role you will need to be creative; seeing design projects through to manufacture optimising mechanical systems and prototypes. Other duties will include producing detailed schematics, fault finding within existing products and troubleshooting customer queries. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Buyer/Purchaser from manufacturing or an engineering background. You will be commercially astute with experience liaising between client and suppliers negotiating and maintaining current supply chains ensuring demands are met. The Role: Reporting to Purchasing Manager Purchasing and negotiating of all electronic and electrical production components. Liaise with supplies to improve existing and develop new supply networks.
