Overview

Management Accountant (Cost) Based: Blackburn Salary: up to £45k dependent on experience. Excellent growing business working with supportive team. Our client is a fantastic, rapidly expanding and well-established business based in Blackburn. A growing SME, they have recently acquired new businesses in the UK and having placed the Finance Manager just last year (ACA Qualified), we are looking for some support as the business grows. This role will be working with both the Finance Manager and Director closely on all activity including month end, further acquisitions, a SAGE implementation project and developing a new costing process to month end. Role: Month end management accounts, assisting Finance Manager Setting up new costing model for the business - producing costings and balances back to monthly management accounts - creating a monthly procedure for the business Costings on margins and analysing profitability by item and customers Costings and reconciliations across 2 business subsidiaries Weekly flash reports to Finance Manager and board P&L and variance analysis reporting against forecast/budgets Balance sheet reconciliations Assisting with budgeting and forecasting alongside Finance Director Assisting with business consolidation on company mergers Submitting finance data and reports to parent company Commercial & Sales reporting to the Finance Director Assisting with additional finance duties when requested (SAGE implementation) Experience: Part-qualified/Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) Experience of costing processes - essential.
