Overview
Supply Planning Team Leader My client is a leading and much-loved FMCG business which has successfully carved out a niche in a challenging and prestigious sector. The business has gone from strength-to-strength over the past couple of years and is heading into a period of growth across several international markets. This role will be based from their attractive offices in Central Edinburgh and is a newly created role- part of their renewed focus on driving supply chain improvements across the business. The role: Effectively line-manage a small team of Supply Planning Executives Share and communicate supply planning vision and strategy to the team Maintain accurate data within the forecasting system Daily monitoring and reporting of market communications and issues Responsible for validation and agreement of forecast supplied by Markets and Regions through analysis of historical data, promotional data and customer's current stock holding Work with the brand marketing and new product development teams ensuring that specifications for customers are raised and new products are delivered in line with customer requirements Where a specification is scheduled to change, monitor dry goods stocks of old specification minimising write-off. Maintain up-to-date information on advertising and promotion budget ensuring appropriate application of invoices. Assist the Business Development Managers in developing their budget providing all necessary historical information to allow accurate planning. Work with Production Planning to ensure supply is available to meet forecast. Monitor & control stock management within markets Production of KPI's and reports to communicate market performance to the business Skills and experience: Experienced & competent in the use of SAP APO Ideally experienced in FMCG environment and managing people Strong experience of building relationships internally across multiple functions Articulate, influential and dynamic Ability to handle ever changing priorities Ability to handle conflict Excellent communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively In return you can expect a competitive salary benefits and play a key role in the development of the company's future success and with many development opportunities.
