My Aberdeen based client require an Opertive in the slaughter department. Applicants should have previous experience within this area. Client Details A leading meat producer. Description Maintain Health and Safety Standards Maintain Animal welfare at all times Maintain Hygiene Standards Communicate effectively Maintain Quality Carry out slaughtering and handling of carcasses on a production line Stun livestock Bleed livestock Prepare for dressing Dress carcasses for evisceration Eviscerate carcasses Prepare carcasses for inspection Maintain and safely operate tools and equipment Deal with waste Finish products to required specifications and yield Achieve product specification within the required timescale Carry out other duties as directed by the Department Manager/Supervisor Profile Able to communicate effectively and work within a team and previous slaughter experience.
