An exciting new opportunity has become available for a full time Consultant Psychiatrist to join our brand new service at Cygnet Hospital Hexham . This is a full-time position to support and lead the Multi-Disciplinary Team to provide clinical services to adults at Cygnet Hospital Hexham. This position is on a 10 bedded Female Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit. The successful candidate will be supported by 1 Specialty Doctor. Cygnet Hospital Hexham provides state-of-the-art facilities and a multi-disciplinary treatment programme designed to assist service users in their recovery. The post holder will also have responsibility for auditing the medical services rendered at the hospitals and ensuring their good quality in accordance to GMC and other relevant professional guidelines. Moreover, the post holder will have responsibility for upholding the Company’s policies and procedures and protecting the Company’s interests as appropriate. As a fully registered member of the GMC, you will be a consultant with senior leadership experience in mental health. You will be required to provide strong, visible leadership in the provision of effective and high quality services. You will be supported by vibrant, well-resourced multi-disciplinary teams, with an absolute focus on delivering superior patient care through a range of proven models of treatment.
