Overview
I am working on behalf of a reputable home care service provider that requires an experienced branch manager in the Shropshire area. The Company: Our client is not just another home care company. In fact, they pride themselves on being different by caring for their clients as if they were members of their own family. Their team of staff and carers are trained to work to a professional standard, highly motivated and love what they do, which is one reason why their staff turnover is so low. It’s also helped them to grow through word of mouth and recommendations from other health care professionals. Currently providing 1000 hours of care per week and looking to expand. Their clients choose them because they know we will deliver on their promises and they trust their integrity. The role: The role will be managing a brilliant and family style ran business. Ensuring smooth running of day to day business within the support/domiciliary care provided. Ensuring all staff members are working effectively to a rota basis. Communicating effectively and efficiently with everyone and covering any support/care required when staff on annual leave/sickness. Responsible for assessing new potential clients to grow the company. Carrying out appraisals and team meetings. The owners are taking a step back so require someone with the capabilities to oversee the whole service, care and business side. The Person: You will be a strong & experienced individual within the domiciliary sector. You will have excellent business sense, with the ability to take the company to the next level and a desire to work to high standards. You will be a resilient individual with excellent leadership qualities and be able to develop your team in a competitive area.
