NHS Band 2 & 3 Healthcare Assistants - Essex

TLTP Medical is currently recruiting for hard-working, committed and experienced Band 2 & 3 Healthcare Assistants to help contribute to the on-going services at NHS hospitals in the beautiful county of Essex. Essential skills and experience for a Healthcare Assistant: We require our candidates to be adaptable, flexible, and reliable individuals in this work setting. This can include Sundays and often late evenings for long hours, so commitment is the main quality we look for in an Healthcare assistant who wants to work through our agency. We need all of our HCA's to be approachable and respectful as the wards can be very challenging to work on as well as keeping control of patients whether it be multiple or 1 on 1. . You must have a valid DBS on the update service but if you don't have possession of one we can help you get it. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent practical and organisational skills. Ability to remain calm, focused and have attention to detail. General duties include: Working alongside a nurse occasionally to serve as an assistant and reporting to them regarding patients. Comforting, interacting and giving emotional and physical support for patients suffering from acute conditions. Keeping departments presentable by maintaining the cleanliness of rooms. Keeping the patients nutritional needs met by providing them meals and beverages at certain times of the day. Help them keep clean and maintain their personal hygiene and also guide them to the toilet if they need the assistance. Working with children and older people in various wards ranging from children to elderly. In return, you will receive: A payment of up to £17.00 per hour via Umbrella which is paid weekly.
