Overview
Summary As a result of a new business win, we are looking for a qualified accountant to work part-time for a rapidly expanding finance director business. The person will play a key role in managing the reporting and communication of business performance and analysis for a variety of SME businesses. Supported by book-keepers, this role gives you the ability to influence and manage client finance activity. The financial operations are managed using The Cloud enabling remote flexible working. Company Background Green Caterpillar Consulting specialises in providing Finance Director Services to scaling SME businesses working alongside its CEO’s to support achievement of growth expectations. Book-keeping and statutory compliance services are offered to provide clarity over the business’s financial situation and active management of cashflow. Role Responsibilities Managing the monthly accounting and reporting cycle Providing insightful financial and management information Cash flow management and forecasting Payroll Statutory accounting and HMRC compliance Day to day management of a book-keeper Skills/Background required Qualified accountant or the equivalent through experience Good Attention to detail and confidentiality Self-starter as will have limited supervision Part Time Flexible Working Around 70 Hours required each month (c0.5-0.6 FTE) Genuine flexibility on working hours to suit personal circumstances Home based working, noting the book-keepers also do the same Full Training will be given on accounting software and technology This is a genuine opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business and grow with it.
