Overview

My client is looking for a Procurement Administrator in the Washington area Pay rate: £10.14 Temporary but on going work This is working for a public body under the guidance of the Procurement Service Manager, to undertake the support and delivery of duties within the function which contribute to the provision of an excellent service, whilst ensuring the effective use of resources. To support department managers in the delivery of exceptional services to our community and key stakeholders. Role specific duties; Undertake routine procurement projects Support and maintain the Financial Management System (SAP), including supporting documentation Support and maintain information relating to the Government Procurement Card software (Smart Data Online Provide administration in the process Administer duties in relation to the Financial Management System (SAP), raising invoices and purchase orders in line with Service procedures. Support with the processing of accounts payable and ensuring accurate coding is applied Administer SAP and other computer and manual based systems to input data, record information and produce reports as required Demonstrate the use of the Financial Management System (SAP) and related issues to new users. Support in the performance management of Procurement activity. Support with enquiries in a courteous, efficient and effective manner, actioning as appropriate. Candidates for this role must have experience of; Undertaking extensive administrative duties. Preparing comprehensive reports and producing documents.
