Permanent, Stevenage, Hertfordshire. £40k - £50k Bonus Benefits Stock Options IT Support Manager / IT Administrator required to work with a multi-national BioTech Company focusing on chronic disease alleviation continues to grow rapidly through its development phase. The IT Support Manager / IT Administrator will work in a dual capacity: providing hands-on user support at the desktop combined with server administration within both Windows Server 2016 (AD/GP, DNS, DHCP) as well as Azure cloud operations; secondly working in a managerial capacity which will involve managing the relationship with the 3rd party MSP outsource partner as well as other vendors; managing internal procurement processes and procedure, delivering projects and building a small team of 1st & 2nd line support analysts in due course. From a technical perspective you will handle certain support issues (with assistance from the MSP partner) and training, documentation around Windows 10, MS Office, Windows Server AD/GP, DNS, DHCP, Sharepoint and related Microsoft Office 365 technologies including Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook within O365. Email management within O365 will form a major part of the role. We are searching for an IT Support Manager / IT Administrator / Support Analyst who has gained experience working in both a user support, server support and IT administration capacity. Ideally you will possess some support management or team leadership experience but be capable of administrative IT duties including procurement, project management and IT vendor/relationship management. You will be well organised, possess exceptional communication skills and be able to both engage business stakeholders as well as "happily roll up sleeves" provide support to users at the desktop. Technically, you will be proficient with desktop and server technologies including Windows 10, MS Office 2016 and Windows Server AD/GP, DNS, DHCP and ideally MS Azure exposure. You may possess some LAN/WAN networking experience and/or some exposure to Sharepoint. Experience working with SQL and SQL Server would be a distinct advantage although non-essential. Degree level education preferred but non-essential.
