FPGA Engineer

FPGA Engineer Location: Stevenage Job Type: 6 month contract I have a number of contract opportunities for experienced FPGA Engineers who would be interested in working on my client's site in Stevenage, they are an internationally renowned defence organisation who provide engineering support and capability to the armed forces. For this role, I am seeking designers with a significant depth of skills in these areas: Image Processing Digital Signal Processing Algorithms Safety related design. To be considered for this position you should have the following: Experience completing a significant number of complex FPGA designs using Xilinx, and/or Altera FPGA devices (including SoC configurations using Power PC or ARM cores) Possess knowledge of the trends in FPGA design and technology Previous experience within the defence or aerospace domain Thorough understanding of the use of design tools such as Xilinx EDK, Xilinx ISE, Xilinx XST, Vivado, Mentor Graphics HDL Designer, Precision Synthesis, ModelSim The ability to communicate effectively, influence and have a desire to achieve challenging timescales will be needed for success in this role.
