If you are, then we may have the opportunity you have been looking for We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Multiskilled Engineer to join our team based in Abergavenny. We are a leading supplier of Poultry products into an impressive range of customers in the UK retail and food service sectors. With ambitious plans for the future, there hasn’t been a more exciting time to join us. Join our Engineering team and you can be a part of the aspiring team that brings Avara Foods to life. Hours: This is a Monday - Friday role, with shifts between 5am and 11pm. You will need to work every third Saturday. Purpose of the role: As a member of the Engineering team, you’ll help drive our performance and overall productivity at our Abergavenny site by keeping our production facility running. Your key responsibilities will include: To maintain the plant and associated systems within and external to the production facility. To provide emergency breakdown repair on a rotating shift pattern. To provide Preventative Planned Maintenance outside the normal production hours. To participate in an on call rota to cover the plant over shut down hours. What we are looking for : BTEC Level 3 & NVQ Level 3 in engineering: ONC, HNC or higher desirable. Time served Apprenticeship or equivalent. Conscientious with excellent attention to detail Comfortable working in confined spaces and at height Ability to work unsupervised Self-motivated Experience of environment within a food industry What’s in it for you?
