Overview
Our client is a specialist in the manufacture, design, installation, repair and maintenance in lifts and escalators with branches ideally situated throughout the UK. They’re looking for a Lift Service Engineer from their London Branch to cover a local service route in the South London area. The role for the Lift Service Engineer will involve:- Maintenance, servicing and small repairs of traction and hydraulic MRL lift equipment. Working as part of a small two man team on occasion for the purpose of carrying out repair works. Working independently while covering a service route in North London. Taking part in the out of hours call-out rota, on a 1 day in 12 basis. The successful candidate for this role will have:- An NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering. Experience in a similar role with at least 3 years’ experience in the industry. Strong fault finding skills on traction and hydraulic lift equipment. A full UK driving license. This role offers an excellent remuneration package, including:- A basic salary of up to £35,000. Door to door travel time throughout your local area. Excellent standby and call-out fees. A call-out rota of only 1 day in 12. 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays. Excellent progression plan and internal training courses available.
