BI, Reporting and Data Specialist /Permanent/Durham Your new company My large and reputable higher education client is seeking a motivated and highly skilled BI, Reporting and Data specialist to join the data and reporting team within the Computing and Information Services department. The organisation is going through a time or change and digital transformation and it's an exciting time to join. Your new role As a BI and Data Specialist you will be working with colleagues across various departments to understand and refine business information and reporting requirements for this diverse organisation You will be translating user requirements provided by business users, business analysts, subject matter experts and working groups into technical designs and documentation. Promote positive and highly collaborative approaches to problem solving and project implementation, helping to motivate, mentor other team members. You will be working with a wide range of technologies across Microsoft and cloud technology including SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and Azure. What you'll need to succeed You will have strong experience within Data, Reporting and Business intelligence in a large complex environment SQL Server SSIS/SSRS OR SSAS Azure would be advantageous Excellent communication and team working skills are essential What you'll get in return This exciting new position is paying circa £40K and offers an excellent benefits package including 35 days annual leave, 18% pension and flexibility around working hours.
