Mechanical Engineer

We have an opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team, which is based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire . You will join us on a full time, permanent basis, with a competitive salary, dependant on experience. The role: Thanks to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer to join Karmelle. Offering the chance for progression, this is a varied and challenging role. Duties and responsibilities of our Mechanical Engineer: Based primarily at our Huddersfield premises and working alongside an experienced team, you will assist with the assembly of bespoke filling, capping and labelling machinery – as well as installing and commissioning equipment onsite. This will involve reading from technical drawings, and assembling our bespoke packaging machinery using mechanical fitting skills. Knowledge and experience required to become our Mechanical Engineer: Essential: - Basic skills in pneumatic logic, electric control, and problem finding - At least 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer - Clean driving licence - While this role is based in Huddersfield, you will occasionally be required to travel around the country, and should be willing to work away from home for short periods of time.
