Herts Good Care is a non-profit company, supporting adult care providers across Hertfordshire to fill their permanent positions. We are currently working with By Your Side Ltd to find a Care Assistant to join their team. Job Shift: Days, Evenings and Weekends Location: Hemel Hempstead Type of Provider: Home Care (Domiciliary) Assisting older adults living with Dementia, Physical Disability Salary: £9.98 to £12.08 Per Hour Hours of Work: Flexible Driving Required: Yes Contract Type: Full Time Contract Part Time Contract 0 Hours Contract About the company We have multiple places of work in the Berkhamsted area. Our calls range from one hour calls to day sits of up to 9 hours. We have flexible working arrangements to suit your availability. We do ask that candidates are available every other weekend. Help with getting up and getting ready for the day or settling in for the night, washing, bathing, and toileting. Domestic tasks such as laundry, cleaning, tidying, shopping, preparing and cooking meals and taking people out to the shops, doctors or social events. Supporting people with more complex needs such as, end of life care, supporting people with acquired brain injury, or those living with long-term conditions such as dementia. Regardless of the physical assistance provided, it is often the emotional support and connection that people receiving the support have with their care and support workers, which makes the difference to them.
