Day Centre Support Worker

Medicare First is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated support workers to work full time working within a Day Centre based in Sunderland. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC. About the Role: Our resource centres provide daily support for customers who have learning and physical disabilities and people who have complex health and behavioural support requirements. 30 hours per week 8.30-4.00pm To be Considered for the role you must have the following: Experience: Significant experience of working with young people/or young adults either in a voluntary or professional capacity. Experience of working within a team setting and experience of working with challenging behaviour in a professional setting.
