Overview
3 Certifications in your first 6 months Technology Agnostic. You will work with the latest technology from AWS to Kubernetes. Enterprise projects working with the likes of MOD, MOJ and the Home Office If the above sounds interesting to you, keep reading I am currently working in partnership with a UK leader in delivering technology transformation across cloud, data and digital. They specialise in delivering ground breaking IaaS, SaaS and PaaS solutions within the public sector. You have the chance to join them as a AWS DevOps to further develop their DevOps function and capabilities. As a consultant, no two days will be the same. However there are a few responsibilities that will remain consistent. Working on: CI/CD pipelines, Cloud Architecture (AWS/Azure), Containers (Docker, Kubernetes), Automation, Configuration Management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and IAC (Terraform, Cloudformation). In addition to remaining hands on, you will be tasked with working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of a project. This will require prior leadership experience and being comfortable with C-level stakeholders. In return my client will support your personal development in certifications and conferences. My client prides themselves on being able to use cutting edge technology to deliver ground breaking solutions. To do so they look to use the right tool for the job. Therefore if you have experience in the following tools and skills, reach out: Cloud - AWS or Azure or GCP Containerisation - Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes Configuration Management Tools - Puppet, Chef, Ansible IAC - Terraform, CloudFormation Agile - Experience with Scrum or Kanban Certifications you can expect to achieve: AWS/Azure Certified DevOps Engineer AWS/Azure Certified Solutions Architect AWS/Azure Certified Developer CKA/CKAD The role will involve some travel, goes without saying all expenses incurred are covered. In terms of package, my client can offer a competitive salary (between £50,000 - £95,000) alongside a non-contributory pension (6%), private health care and 1 Day remote work.
