Optical Assistant/Dispensing Optician - Oxford

A full time Dispensing Optician or Optical Assistant is required to join a well-established independent practice based in Oxford, Oxfordshire.The role would initially involve working between a few different branches which are all easily commutbale. The practices are committed to offering the very best eye care service possible, and have an excellent repuation in the area. As a a qualified DO or experienced Optical Advisor you will have an excellent knowledge of frames and lenses, and be comfortable recommending appropriate lenses and frames that will suit the customer. The practice offers an extensive range of designer brands such as; Prada, Gucci and Silhouette. Reception and admin duties are also so involved so the selected candidates must have proven organisational skills. The client is looking for a well presented and personable candidate who is enthusiastic and enjoys spending time with patients, essentially ensuring the customer has a positive experience. The salary is between £16,000 to £18,000 for an Optical Assistant, and up to £35,000 for a Dispensing Optician. The role involves working 5 days a week including Saturdays working 9.00am to 17.00pm.
